Guideline for SOPA Judges

1. Log into http://sopawards.com using your email address and password as provided in the email we sent you.
2. Click on “My Profile” to check / edit the details we have of you on our judges database.
3. Click on “My Scores” to see the categories of awards assigned to you. Then click on “My Score Sheet” to see the category / categories of awards you are to judge.
4. On the farthest right column, you may click on “Detail” to view the complete entry (or “Submitted Entry Detail” page).
5. Scroll down to “Remarks” where all the attachments are listed and click on each attachment to open and review.
6. Note the importance we place on the Nomination Form which must explain why the entry deserves consideration, the publication’s editorial objectives and how the entry helped fulfill those objectives.
7. Under “Score Sheet”, please score 1-10 (1 being the weakest and 10 being the strongest) for the entry you are reviewing, and add your comments. Comments are required for the top three entries you have scored as these comments may be used during the awards presentation.
8. Click “Save” to save all your entered information.
9. Click “Back to My Scores” to access the next entry. If you have made a comment, you may click on the to view / hide your comment. Repeat from step #1 to review the next entry.

Note that your entered information is saved in the system, and you can resume your session at any time starting from step #1 to add / amend the information. So you do not need to complete the scoring for all entries in one session. When you have entered all your scores and comments, remember to click on “Submit Score Sheet” for each category of awards you are judging. This will complete your judging session.
